LA REINE-GARÇON FINALIST AT THE INTERNATIONAL OPERA AWARDS

The opera La Reine-Garçon, the latest work by the duo Julien Bilodeau / Michel-Marc Bouchard, has been selected as a finalist at the International Opera Awards in the World Premiere category. The winners will be announced on October 2nd.

Cassandra Marsillo is an artist, educator and a public historian known as the Artistorian. She is also the recipient of this year’s Little Prize from the Centre for Oral History and Digital Storytelling at Concordia University.  The award recognizes a storyteller who is making a meaningful contribution to their community outside of a university setting. Cassandra Marsillo joined Let's Go host, Sabrina Marandola on the program.

Canada Post honours Sarah McLachlan. 


 

Sarah will reflect on the impact of Lilith Fair in new documentary. Dan Levy's production company will team up with CBC and Elevation Pictures for the upcoming film (stay tuned!)
