Books:

How horses shaped the modern world, from the origins of pants to life-saving vaccines. 'We wear pants because of horses. Prior to riding horses, no one wore pants,' says the historian.

In The Horse, historian Timothy Winegard traces how horses revolutionized the way humans hunted, traded, travelled, farmed, fought, and interacted — and how they also inspired architecture, invention, furniture, and fashion.
