Donald Sutherland: Why, after an incredible career in film, he’s most proud of being commemorated on a stamp. For over six decades, the legendary Canadian actor Donald Sutherland has been a staple of film and television. Donald tells Tom about the enormous honour of being commemorated on a Canadian stamp, why he doesn’t want dual citizenship between Canada and the U.S., and why it relates to his sense of humour. Shakespeare-in-the-Park, with a difference this summer. It’s called “Infinite Variety”:
An evening of music and merriment, poetry and playfulness, by (or inspired by) Shakespeare. Get ready for the Shakespeare-in-the-Park you know and love, but with a new — er, old! — twist! We’re taking inspiration from travelling troupes of Shakespeare’s day, as well as circus troupes and cabaret acts of Montreal’s past and present, and imagining what the future of Repercussion might look like. Between climate change and the challenges facing cultural organizations, we can’t help but wonder “To be or not to be?” But existential crises are what Shakespeare does best! So come join us in the park this summer… for hopefully not the last time.

A mosaic of Hubble and Webb images of the Pillars of creation reveal the different formations in the gas clouds that are highlighted by each individual telescope — wispy gas streamers by Hubble and the stunning details of the pillars themselves by Webb.
