Montreal Studios - Fonderie Darling is home to twelve creative studios spread over three floors of a carefully converted 19th-century industrial building. Eight of our studio spaces are dedicated to Montreal visual artists as part of the Montreal Studios residency program, which offers professional working conditions in a stimulating environment. This unique program allows artists to occupy a studio for a period of three years and access several specialized technical workshops (wood, metal, ceramics, and CNC), enabling them to develop their projects under optimal production conditions and explore new skills.

Create your dream show at our Gallery. The 100 Mile Arts Gallery invites proposals from a curator who will select, organize, and present the work of other artists—excluding their own—for either a group exhibition or a solo show. They focus on shaping exhibitions, researching and interpreting artworks, coordinating with artists, and creating meaningful and cohesive experiences for the public. Proposals from curators must outline the development and presentation of a group or solo exhibition featuring the work of other visual creators, to be presented for two months. The show will run between May 29th to July 30th, 2026. This paid opportunity offers the chance to explore fresh curatorial ideas, highlight local and regional talent, and engage the community through visual storytelling, collaboration, and dialogue.

There is still one month left to enjoy the exhibition Burn from Absence by Emeline Courcier, a meditation on memory, silence, and the fragile threads that bind generations together. Drawing from her Vietnamese family’s experience of displacement and their philosophy of erasing the past to build resilience, Courcier uses artificial intelligence (AI) as both tool and metaphor.
