August 1st is Emancipation Day:
On March 24, 2021, the House of Commons voted unanimously to officially designate August 1 Emancipation Day. It marks the actual day in 1834 that the Slavery Abolition Act of 1833 came into effect across the British Empire.

My Friend Frankie (MFF) and Good Sport in London, Ontario are holding a duo exhibition to showcase the artistic synergy between two artists, one from London, Ontario, and the other from Montreal, Quebec. The artists are invited to team up and submit a proposal that merges their individual styles and themes, resulting in a cohesive exhibition.
