Sharron M Gallagher is a Montreal artist, educator, and community leader whose work is a soulful dialogue between photography and painting. After a 28-year career as a nursing professor, she now uses her creative voice to explore the world’s quiet stories and feel the emotional weight of her subjects with her hands, heart, and soul.
A lifelong learner and dedicated advocate, Sharron is inspired by nature’s "little treasures"—mushrooms, trees, and the magical resilience of the environment. Her art serves as a call to protect the preciousness of our world, a mission she champions through her leadership on the boards of the Women’s Art Society of Montreal (WASM) and the Women’s Art Studio. Whether through the lens or the brush, Sharron’s work remains a tribute to the enduring beauty of the earth.
