CBC for Christmas:
Holiday Market - At CBC in Montreal, we’ll be hosting a special event this December to raise awareness and collect donations for Food Banks of Quebec.
Join us on Thursday, December 12 at our Make the Season Kind holiday market. Daybreak, Radio Noon and Let's Go will be broadcasting live from Studio C at La Maison Radio-Canada. Nantali Indongo, host of The Bridge will also be present. Live music performances by Siibii, Gráinne and Taigenz. All in support of Food Banks of Quebec. The market is free and open to the public.

Join us on Friday, December 13th, from 11:30am - 1:00pm to join the Concordia Greenhouse's book club! We are organizing a trial run book club where we will choose a book to read related to urban agriculture and sustainability. We will be meeting on December 13th to collectively decide on a book to read, and then decide on a date in January to meet and discuss the book! This year, the Cambodian photography festival, Photo Phnom Penh, is exhibiting an array of work focusing on making the medium accessible in a place where “there’s little possibility to develop and print analogue in the country, and it’s too expensive,” says Christian Caujolle, the artistic director of the festival. One of the photographers exhibiting is Soun Sayon, for example, who trained in image-making with the organisation; like most image-makers in Cambodia, he is unable to support himself via photography and shoots alongside working as an architect.
