Scriven Montreal returns for pen and paper enthusiasts. In the digital age, Scriven Montreal puts the spotlight back on pens and paper. Next Saturday, May 30th, the one-day show at Centre St-Jax in downtown Montreal brings together vendors and experts from around the world. We speak with Scarlet Jory, founder and co-organizer of Scriven Montreal about the event and her obsession with writing. 

 

 

The Scriven Montreal Pen & Stationery Show is happening on May 30, 2026. Hosted at Centre St Jax (1439 Sainte-Catherine St W) in downtown Montreal, this one-day event is completely FREE to attend and runs from 10:00 AM to 5:00.

Le Lac:

 

Swan Lake gets a makeover in “The Lake”. Swan Lake is arguably the most performed ballet and the best-known. Les Grand Ballets Canadiens presents a new take on the tragic story of Princesse Odette and Prince Sigfried, called "The Lake". We speak with Artistic Director Ivan Cavallari about this show that sets this ballet on a photo shoot and sends a message about humanity.

At the Montreal Jazz Fest:

 

Choeur en Jazz celebrates 20 years with “C’est la fête” in June. The Montreal-based choir Le Chœur en jazz is celebrating 20 years of harmony, community, and the love of jazz with two concerts happening in June. We speak with musical director Sylvain Bertrand and choir member Maurice Bigio about how the choir started and their wide repertoire.
