Oscar buzz:

 

Brownstein: Montreal filmmaker Joyce Borenstein takes her Oscar-voting duty seriously — very seriously. A former Oscar nominee and a newly minted member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Borenstein watched every film nominated in all 24 Academy Award categories this year.
