Since the CAQ government announced its budget, a collective movement has been speaking out to raise awareness about how hard it is to work in arts and culture in the province. They've been demanding that the government allocate more funds - at least one hundred million dollars - so that at least folks can thrive not just survive. In this episode, we check-in with 3 artists, in different fields and at different stages in their careers what LIFE is like trying to be a professional in the arts. Dian Marie Bridge, Aaron Dolman and Eric Desmarais share the realities on the ground for work in theatre, music and visual art, and each suggest changes so that society (and artists) can have a sustainable arts and culture sector.
