January 05 – February 02, 2026: Unreal Realities – Abstract Photography. Open to the public (free): Mondays - January 05, 12, 19, 26, and February 02 from 5:30pm - 7:00 pm. Sunday - January 18, from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm.
A group show by the TCC Members in the Masters Division - Abstract photography explores the expressive potential of form, colour, light, and texture beyond recognizable subjects. By emphasizing visual elements rather than literal representation, these images invite viewers to engage with perception itself — to see familiar materials and spaces in unfamiliar ways. This exhibition will present works that challenge the boundaries of photographic realism, offering a contemplative experience where meaning emerges through rhythm, structure, and the play of light.

Sarah Lazarovic has been advocating for a National Portrait Gallery of Canada. While it has been teased, planned, cancelled and debated, nothing has been established. So now, Sarah has taken it on herself. She's created the National Portrait Gallery of Canada of Bloorcourt. It is a place to showcase the people and a few animals that make up our country. It's on display now in Toronto.

The National Portrait Gallery of Canada of Bloorcourt features 68 portraits, many of which depict local community members and those connected to them. Supplied by Sarah Lazarovic
