Haitian, born in Nancy, I grew up and lived in Haiti until I completed my university studies in Civil Engineering in Port-au-Prince. Haiti being a place where culture and art are omnipresent in all their forms, I developed a great interest in architecture, dance, painting, and art in all its versatility from a young age.

I was fortunate to travel often with my parents to provincial towns in Haiti, where I fell in love with the richness of local life, the colors, and especially the people. From this experience was born a desire to share and tell these stories as I saw them.

In 2004, I moved to Canada where I pursued my postgraduate studies. At the same time, I took workshops and courses in photography at the University of Montreal (SAÉ), and later at Collège Marsan.

It wasn't until 2009 that I was able to undertake a series of trips to Haiti, where, using photography as my tool, I was finally able to capture and illustrate the different facets of Haitian society that so enriched my childhood and youth.

Visual arts, particularly photography, have since become my channel of expression and remain a way for me to immortalize everyday life in both its simplicity and complexity.
