Concordia alumni artists bring colour and creativity to Montreal’s BIXI bike network. The public-art initiative l’art en mouvement is transforming Montreal’s dull grey BIXI bikes and stations into colourful mobile and open-air exhibitions across the city this summer. Three Concordia alumni — Trevor Kiernander, BFA 06, Gabor Bata, BFA 19, MFA 23, and Alexandra Riesbri, BFA 24, — are among the artists contributing to the project.

Italian police recover stolen Renoir, Cézanne and Matisse artworks worth millions. MILAN (AP) — Italian authorities recovered three artworks by Renoir, Cézanne and Matisse worth millions of euros that were stolen earlier this year from a private museum near the northern city of Parma, police said Friday.
