Meryem Aouli is a Canadian painter originally from Morocco. A teacher by training (with a teaching certificate and a master's degree) at the University of Quebec at Montreal, she decided in 2017 to pursue the Composition from Figuration to Abstraction program at the Montreal Academy of Fine Arts.

Meryem Aouli's artistic approach is entirely focused on conveying the energies that surround her.

What she seeks above all is to express emotional intensity by opening herself to the vibrations of the body, nature, and the universe. Through expressive brushstrokes, primarily using acrylic paint, her compositions range from figurative to abstract. The expression of light is present to give a spiritual meaning to her reality and imagination. Meryem has participated in several group exhibitions and has also held solo exhibitions.

In 2018, she won the bronze medal at the Césure International Art Competition, 6th edition, with her painting "Transcendence".
