2022 Schedule of Events

 

Tuesday, March 1,2022 - On OR prior to this deadline date all submission forms, digital photos, hanging fees and membership dues must be submitted.

Monday, May 2, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM:

Artists are to bring their works to the gallery. No packaging will be kept at the gallery. Artists or designated staff will remove packaging when the art is delivered to the gallery. The artist will bring back the packaging with them when they pick up their works.

Tuesday, May 3 and Wednesday May 4, starting 11:00 AM:

Gallery hanging crew + 2 WASM volunteers assemble and hang art.

 

Thursday May 5th and Friday, May 6, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM: Judging and final set up.

Gallery is closed except to judges and designated gallery staff.

 

Friday, May 6, 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM:  Vernissage

Awards will be announced. Wine will be served.

 

Public Viewing - Friday May 6th 5:30 pm to Friday May 20th.

Monday - Fridays: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Saturdays: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Sundays: Closed

Note: Anyone can come in during the gallery’s opening hours, however, for the sake of efficiency and fair judging, we ask that unless you are on the hanging committee, members and their guests do not visit the gallery before the date and time of the Vernissage.

Saturday, May 21, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM: Dismounting of the show. 

​

Artists come to pick up their works, participation certificates and award certificates.

Note: The gallery prefers that artworks be picked up on May 21 but does allow a  latest pick-up on Tuesday, May 24, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. (Gallery is closed Monday as it is a holiday.)
